Product Description
Operation
The Ei206D is a Carbon Monoxide (CO) alarm powered by
a 9V Alkaline battery (supplied).
The green indicator will flash every minute to indicate
that the battery supply is healthy.
The Ei206D uses a proven electrochemical cell type
sensor which checks CO concentration every 50 seconds.
All units are individually calibrated and tested in CO gas in
order to ensure accuracy. In addition, the sensor module
can be easily changed for a new module at the end of its 5
year life.
If CO is detected, the horn will sound and the digital
display will indicate the level of CO sensed in parts-per-
million (ppm). The red indicator will also flash.
The horn will beep and the digital display will show „SF‟
in the event of a sensor fault. The amber indicator will
also flash every minute.
The Ei206D also has a built-in digital display which shows
the CO level sensed in parts-per-million (ppm).
The horn will beep and the green indicator will flash
every minute to indicate that the batteries are depleted.
The Ei206D is housed in a slimline casing and can be
easily secured to a wall or ceiling, with a separate base-
plate and all necessary fixings supplied.
Memory Feature - when the test button is pressed the
horn will sound and the digital display will indicate the
level of CO previously detected in ppm.
As well as being easy to install and maintain, the alarm
also has a vitally important memory feature which records
if CO has been detected whilst the occupier was away.
The “Test/Hush” button will either silence false alarms
(if briefly pressed) or perform a unit self test (if pressed
and held). Note that the alarm cannot be silenced when
sensing a CO level of 300ppm or above.
An easy to use Test/Hush button allows the user to check
that the horn and electronics are working and to silence
nuisance alarms.
